So it appears the server's down again, the error message received upon attempted login is posted above. Both PMC and Minestatus confirm the server is down, and that the error isn't just on my end. Here's my system details anyways.

Operating System - Windows 7

Minecraft Version - 1.4.7, Rei's Minimap

Version of Java - Version 7, Update 17

Description of Error - Upon login, only a small amount of the map would render, everything else would be in grey. Any attempts to use the /login command were killed, but flying up/down was allowed. After about 20 seconds, the screen would crash, followed by the screenshotted error message above.

What I was doing - Attempting to log in. Attempts were obviously unsuccessful.

Programs running at the time: Google Chrome (Planet Minecraft & Squiggy Forums), Skype, Minecraft.

Minecraft account- Premium

EDIT:: So I did some research, apparently either the server isn't receiving my pings or vice versa. Other minecraft servers I visit ARE working, it appears to be isolated to Squiggy.

Edit # 2: Changed "successful" to "unsuccessful" in the [What I was doing] section. Mistake on my part, sorry.

I have, of course, experienced the same login problem and have gotten the same crash message.

do we know what's caused it this time around? Is it possible someone griefed the server itself?

Unknown, Squeakers. Unfortunately, Rei and Rin aren't online, so we can't get a firm confirmation on anything. From what I've read, widespread messages like what we're experiencing usually indicate server-side error.

Edit: Network does not have an effect. I was originally on my campus network, then I moved to my home network. I thought perhaps I didn't have the required bandwidth, but when I connected to my own router via Ethernet cable, I still get the same message.

Dang. Hopefully they fix it when they get on. 

Sometimes the server crashes because of host side problems.. it seems to be up! Sorry about the problems. :C

The server is derpy right now. It crashs when certain players log on. This is a host side problem and there is nothing we can do at the moment.

Well whatever you guys did, it's working now in certain areas... the staff warp kills people though. :c I'm glad you broke the Stargate there, that could've gotten out of hand again.

I removed the Staff-buildy-plot completely for right now. I do have it backed up, but before I place it again, I will have to alter its layout.
